The energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicles, which is then transformed into heat destroying the hair follicle and surrounding structures. The result is permanent hair reduction.

Using the 810nm wavelength and 100 watt output power the HR-Force provides enough energy to work with longer pulses up to 1000msec. The wavelength combined with super long pulses makes it possible to treat the darkest skin types by using the ability to pulse over a longer period of time, thus reducing the risk of epidermal damage with out compromising the efficacy of the treatment.
