Two principles in a Boca Raton anti-aging clinic turned themselves Thursday morning to answer charges connected to a national steroid ring.
Both Elaine Sorrells, president of Oasis Longevity & Rejuvenation, and Courtney Sorrells-Loceff, listed as the company's vice president, pleaded not guilty in an Albany, N.Y., court. Both were released on $10,000 bail.
On Monday, A.J. Peterson, a marketing employee at Oasis, also pleaded not guilty to charges that include illegally selling steroids and felony conspiracy.
The company is one of three South Florida clinics so far implicated in a what prosecutors are calling a major steroid distribution operation based in Orlando.
Some 15 people in three states -- at least nine from South Florida -- have been charged in the case.
